Golfers can choose between Apple Creek’s 9 hole course or Villa Olivia’s 18 hole course. Villa Olivia also features a full restaurant and a winter activities including tubing, skiing and snowboarding. All in all, the Bartlett Park District features a skate park, tennis courts, baseball & softball fields, five soccer fields, basketball courts, ice skating, and nature areas.
“Arts in Bartlett”, a ten year old nonprofit organization, believes that the overall quality of life is enhanced by participation in the arts. Whether an individual wants to create, actively participate, experiment or merely appreciate the arts, “Arts in Bartlett” strives make accessible a complete variety of media and multicultural experiences. Events sponsored by “Arts in Bartlett” include Gallery shows, Antique shows, Historical and Architectural tours, World Cultural Festivals and an annual Arts Fair. The Gallery and Center for the Arts features a monthly open mic night which welcomes guitarists, singers, poets and other performing artists. There is a thriving theatre company which offers productions throughout the year. Finally, the “Color My World” ongoing arts program introduces children to the visual arts and keeps their creative minds flourishing on into adulthood.
